We regret to inform you that the STEX exchange appears to be experiencing serious difficulties. What started out as a simple "MAINTENANCE" message (as has been the case on several occasions) has in the last few hours become "WE ARE NO LONGER ABLE TO CONTINUE OUR SERVICE".
Like you, we are surprised and have no explanation for this.
The reason given (on their site) is that they have lost their users' data. Whether this is a hack or an exit scam, we have no information. Like you, we have assets on the platform. Since we launched in 2018, we've been confronted with this kind of situation several times, so whether it's an exit scam or not, in our experience we've rarely seen an exchange return to normal after this type of announcement. We'll continue to contact the exchange for answers. This exchange has existed for many years. For your information, the listing fee was $10,000.
