For end users, it abstracts away complex technicalities. It provides the same experience as traditional lending protocols on a single chain. Users can access global assets from supported chains, all with a unified interest rate. Whether choosing a specific chain for borrowing or letting the protocol handle it, users can easily optimize for gas efficiency.
In partnership with RISC Zero, Malda launched its testnet, offering participants the chance to earn rewards. The testnet has two types of tasks: open tasks and more challenging hidden tasks. Completing these tasks grants participants tiered NFTs that enhance their Malda Points.
Step-by-step guide
- Obtain test ETH tokens on the Ethereum Sepolia, Linea, and Optimism Sepolia networks.
- If you have tokens on Ethereum Sepolia, you can bridge them to the other networks.
- Request Test USDC and wstETH Tokens
- After connecting your wallet, supply USDC tokens on the three networks, then supply wstETH tokens.
- Borrow 20-40% of the tokens you supplied. Repeat this with six different tokens.
- Use the Withdraw and Repay features to complete the participation process.
- Completing tasks rewards you with NFTs that boost your Melda Points.
