I've been so busy and caught up with Overline Networks' tweet-to-earn campaign I've completely neglected writing any blog posts on Publish0x and even my own websites! I just can't stop myself from thinking about the excitement that has been building within the community in regard to land rarities being released, upgrade auction sales starting to be released, and land sales that will also start soon, so much more.

I'm pretty stoked that I was able to collect 17 plots of which I got 5 rare 🟥, 7 super-rare 🟩, and 5 material-level ⬜ plots. The prospect of selling these plots soon is really exciting.

Thankfully I saw how early I was when I got started and made sure I logged in every day and got my free ōCash and tried to make it to every happy hour so I could collect 6 ōCash. I put all that towards upgrading my 2 generations 2 plots which turned out to be a good idea because both plots ended up being one rare and one super-rare. I claimed my first plot during generation 2, now generation 4 is in progress and the land claim has been temporally closed. You can still register your email address so you can be notified as soon as the land claim has opened for the next generation of land plots. 

Another reason I'm happy about the fact that I logged in each day is that all of the free ōCash I was collecting and spending on my upgrades was being tracked and saved. When the main net launches I will be eligible for an airdrop equal to all the ōCash I had spent.

I'm enjoying the progress and how the ōLand metaverse is being released. Each release is substantial and drives community involvement. Some other projects just release a photo or some useless information, not Overline. Each release is actually a reveal of another feature in my account page giving me new abilities to interact with my ōLand plot. 

With the introduction of their tweet-to-earn campaign, they have managed to create a viral wave of content and hashtag clicks and created a desire for each ōLander to want to interact with one another. To me, it's been pretty successful. I've enjoyed climbing the leaderboard for ōCash earned from Twitter. My last checked spot was #20 of the top 100.

The 133-page ōLand almanac explains a lot about the metaverse and all the features, upgrades, and possibilities for your plot.

From upgrade types to important cities, and the furry ōFriends (a special type of Akita-inus) it's all in the Almanac. It is something that I have read through almost as many times as the almanac has pages! There is a seemly endless amount of possibilities contained within this metaverse, especially when you factor in the cross-chain capabilities it's just insane to think of the growth that is going to come from this, especially for what I have in the game which is just some time, and no money invested.

Right now the biggest part of being an ōLand plot owner is to collect, or buy as much ōCash as you can so you can buy ōTreats to try and attract an ōFriend to your plot by placing ōTreats on it. ōFriends love to munch ōTreats so it's a good idea to place as many as you can on a plot when upgrading a plot of land.

The best way to learn about ōFriends is to read the Almanac. There is so much to learn and to be the most successful ōFriend owner, you've got to be able to understand some pretty technical stuff that may be beyond the average ōland owner's knowledge. I think I could do pretty well with my knowledge and how I enjoy researching but I've already been priced out of the market and my only hope is to find one, SOON!

I've seen the ōFriend owners partaking in some pretty awesome and valuable events which are only open to those that have found or purchased an ōFriend. Don't get me wrong, I understand the need to start earning but it just brings back the same feeling I got when the SHIB community developed the ShibArmy and we were fighting for Shiba Inu and then the devs got involved and before you knew it, here comes bone, and leash, and this and that and pretty soon those that held bone were making money and those that held SHIB got left behind and forgotten about. The very ones that created the wave got consumed by it, taken out to sea, and never thought of again. I just hope that the guys and gals at ōverline don't forget about community members like me and those that don't have the skills to be blogging and making graphics. We're the ones that formed the first stones in the foundation. 

As I've watched ōLand grow I think the community is building in the right direction. Everyone seems to be lending their strengths to improve and grow the ōLand community and I think that is an important part of launching something like this. Ideas like this can't thrive without a thriving community of diehard supporters to back it up. Overline Network has managed to pull all the necessary things together.

I think that it was a brilliant idea to implement the tweet-to-earn campaign and the timing was excellent. The rules that dictated how you could earn and what type of community interaction had to happen for you to earn different amounts of ōCash are fun and challenging.
