Pierre Teilhard de Chardin A lot of Christians this days seem to have forgotten who they are. They no longer know who a Christin is, and what is expected of a Christian. They are not aware that they’ve been called to a new and different life.

What then do they do? They live life just the way they did before being Christians. There’s no change in how they live their lives. There’s nothing new about them. Even though the Bible says we become new creations when we accept Christ, nothing changes about a lot of Christians. We are told that as Christians, we are in the world but not of the world. That means that, we live in the world. We eat, go to work/school, have friends and even go to church in the world but we don’t belong to the world. We are not to conform to the world. We are to live a life different from those that belong to the world. It doesn’t mean we should go and build on an Island, it means that we should be able to live amongst people of this world, but not follow all the bad and evil things being done in the world. We shouldn’t be led by what the world is doing. We should rather lead the world unto Christ. Christians should start leading the world into Christ. We should live lives that show that, we are on this earth for but a short time and so must make the best out of it as we look forward to moving to heaven to enjoy eternal life. Our goal is to get to heaven and we should always have that at the back of our minds.
