Man City have not lost to Villa in any competition since 2013. City have won 7 straight matches against Villa and only lost one away match last season. Villa are at home and Gerard is on the hotseat. Steve G doesn’t look like he knows what his best team is. I cant back Villa in this fixture. Gerard might get the sack after the match.
AC Milan vs Inter: Milan 2-2
The last 2 champions, oldest rivals, and a derby fixture?! Inter are sitting 4th and AC Milan are sitting in 6th with just 1 point separating the teams. They have met 11 times since 2018 and Inter have won seven of the matches with two draws. Milan have won only twice. The season is early , but AC hasn’t seemed to hit her stride yet. I'm backing Inter to continue their good form against their bitter rivals.
Nantes vs PSG: 1-3
PSG has already beaten Nantes 4-0 in the Trophee des Champions opener this season. PSG just dropped their first points of the season to Monaco in a 1-1 draw. Surprisingly Nantes has a decent head to head record with 2 wins in the last 5 meetings. Nantes also rarely fail to score vs PSG. I cant find the courage to pick Nantes, but I think they will score. I like the over in this match as well
Lazio vs Napoli: 1-1
Both teams come off a lackluster draw midweek against weak opponents. In fact both teams have had identical results this season and sit at 8 points with identical GD. I see nothing between the sides. I’m predicting a draw.
