The north London club have already agreed a fee of 85m for Brazilian winger Savinho, who is due to earn an initial payment of 75m and a further 10m in add-ons for the 22-year-old, whom they expect to undergo a medical. They are also in negotiations to sign Egypt international Marmoush from the Citizens.

It is understood the forward arrived at the Etihad from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025 for an estimated 59m, but made little impact largely due to Erling Haaland being ahead of him in the pecking order.

Football Insider has reported that City would also be willing to consider a fee in the region of 75m for Marmoush, who would bring the total value of a deal for the duo to an eye-watering 160m.

However, such a deal will have to take into consideration Tottenham's current financial outlay, with the club already having a busy transfer window of their own as boss Roberto De Zerbi begins his rebuilding job.

A disastrous 3-0 opening-day defeat against Brentford has put further pressure on his side to increase their potency in front of goal. Combining with Savinho, Marmoush will certainly add more pace, flair and goals to Spurs' strike force as they look to put last season's disappointing run behind them and aim for a place higher in the table.
