It was an exciting Boxing Day premier league games as we look forward to yet another exciting continuation of the premier league fixtures. Man City is set to take on Wolves at the Molineux Stadium as they look to regain second position on the table.
Wolves had a pretty difficult start to the season but have now turned their situation around and are very stable in terms of form. They have a great opportunity to climb to 5th position if the manage to get the job done against Man City at home. A difficult game for them, however, they have shown that they know how to get results against the top teams and will be going into this game to do the double against Pep Guardiola’s men.
Expected formation and tactics – Wolves will be expected to set up in their favorite 3-5-2 formation. We would be expecting Wolves to make it very difficult for Man City, stay very organized defensively and try to utilize their counter-attacking qualities to cause Man City troubles.
Man City have regained their mojo back after having a dip in form recently, they are now on the verge of claiming the second position if they get all 3 points later today against Wolves at the Molineux Stadium. The title race seems to be over for them if we are to look at things realistically, however, there is still a long way to go and who knows what might happen before the end of the season. Their fixture against Wolves later today at the Molineux Stadium is a very difficult fixture for them as they lost to this same Wolves team at home. Nevertheless, with the form City are in at the moment, they are expected to coming out of the Molineux Stadium with all 3 points.
