What’s Next for Chelsea – Who Will Be the Next Manager If Sarri Leaves?


The rumours and reports concerning the current Chelsea manager Sarri joining Juventus who recently parted way with Allegri, in just a matter of days, is getting stronger and stronger by the day and according to the reports, Chelsea have accepted the offer from Juventus for Sarri and he has also had talks with Juventus and the deal is expected to be completed in a matter of days.

These reports have caused a lot of concerns for some section of the Chelsea fans and had raised a lot of talking points concerning what is next for the Blues, which manager will be taking over if Sarri leaves. There are a few names that are popping up strongly as the possible replacement for Sarri if h eventually leaves the club.

Frank Lampard – Derby County manager

According to the rumors and reports, Frank Lampard, the X Chelsea player, and legend, who is currently managing the championship side, is a strong candidate for the manager job to replace Sarri. Lampard who has caught the eye of many due to his amazing job with his young Derby side has been put into possible manager bracket to return to the club that he shares so many wonderful memories. However, while some people think that this could be a good move for the club since he knows the club really well and loves to make use of youth players, which could benefit the club, there are also some who believe that he is not ready yet to manage a big club like Chelsea yet, and that he still needs a bit more time to learn and equip himself better.

Javi Gracia – Watford manager

The current Watford manager is another strong name that has been linked with as the possible replacement for Sarri. It is already clear the amazing job Javi Gracia has done with Watford especially this season, having a very good run in the premier league and taking them to the final of the FA Cup. According to the reports, his job has been admired by the Chelsea hierarchy and they are also considering him as a possible option for the manager job at Chelsea.

Nuno Santo – Wolves manager

This is another strong candidate also liked with a move to Chelsea. Nuno has really done really great at Wolves this season, finishing in the top 10 and was even regarded as the top 6 nemesis due to the positive results they got against the top 6 teams. His work at Wolves has been greatly admired by many and not a coincidence to why he is heavily linked with as possible Sarri replace at Chelsea.

There are also a couple of names that have been flying in recently, but only time will tell if these rumors and reports are actually genuine. Let’s wait and see what will happen in the coming days and see the decision both Chelsea and Sarri makes.
