The premier league returns to action tomorrow with lots of much-anticipated fixtures. Coming up tomorrow is the Aston Villa vs Liverpool fixture as Liverpool set to continue their fine form against the newly promoted Aston Villa at the Villa Park.
Aston Villa have not done badly at all even though they are currently sitting in 15th position, compared to other teams around them. They are basically just 2 points below Man United who are in 7th position at the moment and will be hoping to move higher up the table when they host Liverpool tomorrow. This game against Liverpool will be another difficult game so far as Liverpool haven’t yet lost any game this season. Even though a win will be an unreal result, a draw against Liverpool will be considered a great result for them.
Expected formation and tactics, Aston Villa will be expected to set up in a 4-1-4-1 formation. They love to play football when they are able to, but against a team like Liverpool who are in flying form at the moment, they will most likely set up for counter-attack and also try to capitalize on opportunities to hurt Liverpool.
Liverpool are currently flying at the moment, their last premier league game against Spurs and their recent match in the EFL Cup against Arsenal saw them come from behind to get wins. They are full of confidence at the moment and will be looking to continue their fine form against Aston Villa at the Villa Park later tomorrow. They are the favorites to get a comfortable 3 points on paper, however, they will also try to avoid complacency as Aston Villa could be a tricky game for them.
Expected formation and tactics, Liverpool will without a doubt set up in their usual 4-3-3 formation. Their game plan will most likely not change as they will be looking to dominate the game and try to utilize their qualities of their 3 forwards to damage Aston Villa.
