FA Cup Showdown Continues as Arsenal Set to Lock Horns Against Leeds United at Home

The ongoing FA Cup showdown continues today as the last fixture for this week’s FA cup matchday. Arsenal is set to lock horns against Leeds United as they aim for success in this season’s FA Cup showdown.

Arsenal have looked rejuvenated since club legend now turned manager took over as the new manager of the club and since then, thing are now looking like they are moving in the right direction for them. They finally got their first win under Mikel Arteta, and boy did it come at the right time as it was against a Man United, a top team and a top 4 candidate this season. A great win for them and a confidence booster for the team as they know that things are gradually taking shape. They have a great opportunity to achieve a somewhat successful season under Arteta by winning the FA Cup and will give everything to ensure that they add another FA cup to their cabinet. The Gunners will be going up against Leeds United later today at home for their FA cup fixture.

Expected Formation and tactics… Arsenal United will be expected to set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation. They are playing at home and coupled with the fact they are under a manager who loves to play football, it is simple to say that Arsenal are expected to have more of the ball and be more attacking. Whichever team the manager decides to put out, we are most likely going to see a team that will be looking to attack and create a lot of chances to get the job done.

Leeds United aren’t the same as they used to be so many years ago, however, they are still a very decent side that are more than capable of causing the premier league sides problems in this competition. This is another great opportunity for them to go toe-to-toe against a top premier league side and show what they have to bring to the table. They will be facing Arsenal later today at the Emirates Stadium as they aim to hurt the Gunners and progress to the next stage of the completion.

Expected Formation and tactics… Leeds United will be expected to set up in a 4-1-4-1 formation. They like to play football as well and will be aiming to have a go at Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. This is their very good opportunity to express themselves against a top side as a positive result could drastically increase their confidence going forward. Nevertheless, they will also be very cautious against Arsenal’s threats and will also try to be defensively solid and capitalize on counter-attacking chances in the game.
