The fixture we all have been waiting for since Jose Mourinho’s return to the premier league as Tottenham’s head coach is just hours away. Coming up tomorrow is the much-anticipated premier league clash between Man United vs Spurs at Old Trafford tomorrow.
Man United are not in good form at the moment and their last 2 games have been disappointing according to the fans. It hasn’t been an easy full season for Solskjaer as Man United manager as the team have performed poorly in most of their games so far. However, there is still a long way to go and enough time for them to find their mojo and turn things around. They will be facing Jose Mourinho's Spurs team tomorrow at home, a manager that was sacked by the club. So it will be exciting to see how these two clubs fare at Old Trafford tomorrow.
Expected formation and tactics, Man United will be expected to set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation. They will be aiming to get a win in this game and will be highly motivated to get the job done against Mourinho. Their gameplan will most likely be to be very aggressive from the get-go and try to unsettle Spurs as they utilize their fast counter-attacking qualities to hurt Spurs.
Spurs are beginning to find their feet again ever since Jose Mourinho took over as the club’s head coach. Two back-to-back wins for Spurs as they look to make it 3 wins in a row. This will be Jose’s most difficult game since he became the Spurs manager, however, he will be relishing this fixture as it will be a great opportunity to have his revenge against Man United. An exciting fixture this is for the fans as all eyes will be on this game.
Expected formation and tactics, Spurs will be expected to set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation. Jose will want his team to prove that they deserve to be in the top 4 and will definitely want to get all 3 points at Old Trafford but will be happy not to lose which means a draw will Ok for him (we all know Jose doesn’t like to lose games like this). Their gameplan will most likely be to stay very compact and difficult to break down while also utilizing their qualities in counter-attacks to hurt Man United.
