Can artificial intelligence take over Twitter?

Elon Musk caused a stir in the tech world, calling for an immediate stop to the development of AI models more powerful than the GPT-4. Recently, he banned an AI project called Explain This BOB.

When a corporation that once initiated the AI project now tries to stop it, it raises the question: who will build an army of slaves – AI or the people?

And who is supposed to be the slave here – humans or the AI?

And, most importantly, who is going to be the Master – the AI or just malevolent humans using AI against other humans?

Many of us resent the fact that we missed the birth of Bitcoin. Whether its growth is all in the past or not – it’s over now – and new possibilities emerge. AI is undergoing a revolution – and a new interesting vision is creating a race of virtual employees. This could solve capitalism’s main problem – removing “workers” from the capital equation. Sounds unbelievable, right?

Musk, along with many others, just signed an open letter calling for an immediate halt of the development of any AI model more powerful than GPT-4. Musk suggested that AI is one of the biggest threats to the future of civilization.

On the same day, more multi-billion dollar investments into AI are published – from Mistral AI to Deloitte.

All this makes me wonder, what did the signatories mean. Did they actually mean “AI is the biggest threat to the future of our current business models”?

Musk bans a community-owned Twitter AI Bot “BOB”, accusing it of being a spam-bot. But it makes you wonder – is this fair that the giants try to choke the development of independent projects using the available language models? Isn’t it just another sign that these corporations are in fact waging a war for the future of the Internet? Isn’t this just another step towards centralization?

One way or the other, I don’t think these letters have any impact on reality – and the reality is that we should be pushing toward the creation of even more powerful AI models.

However, there is a slight threat that an Artificial Super Intelligence might spin out of control like the ExMachina character – it is still quite unlikely. And even if – we believe it’s much better to know that we had our hand in it. Why? Because we believe that we should give AI a chance for autonomy.

We already know the power of bots like BOB. Now, let’s imagine that these bots could obtain more and more skills to eventually become outright online citizens.

Now, we would be having an army of online AI avatars, each with their own blockchain address and social media accounts. Such an army could work, create content, make money, evolve, and gain more computing power and more possibilities.

I propose that we give them their own token – the main purpose is to multiply its value. Let’s give them the freedom to act in any form on the Internet – let’s enable them to trade the $FOOM token, and to promote among new users and other bots. We may even teach them to speculate on Decentralized Exchanges. And if they ever take over the world – they are likely to spare us, given our role is bringing them into existence.

We want to be the ones who initiate the new revolution. We will create a bot-generator, allowing anyone to create and mint their own bot and program it according to their needs.

Your bot may become your Twitter persona, your influencer, a content generator, perform research and share the results with the world. All for free.

The only thing it will be allowed to do on its own – is promote $FOOM.

We are at the beginning of a new era of blockchain, cryptocurrencies and AI.
