Rafting on the Dunajec is one of the greatest attractions that await us during a visit to the Polish Pieniny.
The raft consists of two narrow boats connected to each other. The raft is managed by a rafter. During the rafting trip, the rafter tells various interesting stories and legends related to the Pieniny Mountains.

Nature here is wild and unchanged for millennia. It is one of the greatest tourist attractions in Europe.
We are in the Pieniny National Park, which is a protected nature reserve.

We are surrounded by limestone rocks. The river carved a gorge in the rocks, which was called the "Dunajec Gorge".

The river is really amazing, at times it flows calmly, even lazily, at other times it turns into a rushing, swift current.
If you ever visit Poland, include the Pieniny Mountains in your sightseeing program.
