The problem with modern movies is they're almost always either very political or very predictable.
The Fall Guy is neither. In a way.
The first thing that stands out, to me at least, is the excessive product placement, which I personally don't care about. A lot of the cars, and there are many cool cars in the film, are GMC or GMC-adjacent, and Ryan Gosling's Tag Heuer Carrera, Gosling has been a brand ambassador for Tag Heuer for a couple of years at this point, is carefully and subtly included in so many shots.

In addition to that, I also appreciate Gosling's character's movie jacket. Gosling clearly has a knack for that sort of thing. Remember the movie 'Drive', in which he was wearing the silver jacket with a scorpion that became cult? That's what I mean.
The movie is enjoyable, and I'm a watch and car fan anyway, so I don't mind seeing nice cars and nice watches on screen.

One last thing, The Fall Guy is a reference to Ryan Gosling's character, a stuntman, but it is an extremely clever title because it gives away what's going to happen during the movie.
You should watch it.
