read the whole post its short and you might be quized on it later. that's you fet! you have to click it.
preface: in the way that faggot and negro had to go "drugs" and addict are words that have to go. imagine "drugs" written in goosebumps letters from here on, plead
Drugs are bad. Everybody knows drugs are bad. Except drugs save lives, can cure our headaches, can stop asthma attacks or anaphylaxis! What is a drug, is it bad? Everybody knows weed is bad, it's a drug. A druggie "drug" (everyone used to know this and to dire consequences)
Do we have a perfect example of a derogatory word in action? pretty much. The definition of drugs meaning must change. hateful, misleading and used for derogation. it is hate speech and dangerous to use. There has been a lot of negative conditioning and propaganda about these "drugs". Put forth by various groups over the years. I don't think anyone ever went back and corrected them. Dangerous
😇thankfully, later on we learned that once cannabis 's stigma was gone, it could respectably and effectively be used in place of drugs. even in combination with drugs. proven and widely accepted to be healing, helping, curing and fortifying when used "appropriately" it could no longer be a "drug". it had to be acknowledged for is currently a drug.
If one was to smoke weed, it might have made them a "druggie" or "drug abuser" in the eyes of society, not but a few years ago. Worse, it even might start their friends and family calling them an addict. Who can a "druggie" hang out with? In most cultures, by thereself, no-one or others who imbibe the same psychoactive(s),at least💝👍🤝. (thankfully)
What rights did we take from these "addicts"?
I'm going to take a break and let us think about what rights, rights that are naturally, god-given and theirs today, that were taken from them, "yesterday" (a couple years ago) without their consent. by society, by democracy, by us. I loath to say it. if you were of in anyway capable of stopping it and didn't, you had a hand in it. it's dirty, it's wrong. I had a hand in it and I was a "druggie"! my only saving graces were people I saved from the police, when able.. why take on the police you ask, during a period where cannabis is unmistakably illegal? I, and each of you have a conscience, mine happened to know psychoactives can be included in a moral life and was feeling brave those instances. it's the instances I couldn't protect peoples rights that eat me up, inside.
I had my rights taken. For holding a friends pipe that could have been used to smoke weed.(it was used to smoke weed😁🤣) though, it had not around when the cops came peaking in our car window. i hadn't smoked that day.
it was no laughing matter.
letting people demonize, and dehumanize you with bigoted hate speech(words) lets society think it's a good deed they're doing, taking your human rights away. When I hear the War on Drugs I hear the war on niggars or the war on or gooks!!! I hear a war on me and my friends! Riles me up when people don't understand the effect their words have. I apologize for saying those racist words a second ago I wanted you to know what I hear when I hear that saying.
no more calling psychoactives "drugs", this debacle has poisoned many of the other words that can be used to refer to a psychoactive. That is why I am an activist for psychoactive rights. It is academic!😀 to the point that it is immune, currently to the stigma instantly triggered by oither words for the same. Once We rise up with it. i think it can hold against the forces arrayed against it. Sorry to say it but when you refer to your drugs as drugs you are perpetuating bigotry. Kindly stop and ask others to stop. Or at least explain the situation.
Please wait for my next blog or post to understand the dire need to be rid of the word addict. It is most often used derogatorily and used to dehumanize, isolate and slander good people. When people are dehumanized their rights can be taken because only humans have human rights.
We might even be able to take that word back, eventually! Make it clean word a word central to a progressive society, medicine, and personal growth.
Fear not. I am not going to claim that addiction as has happened to many is myth. I am going to point to a lot of cutting-edge science that is hopefully going to convince you that the word addict, as it is used, today, is ruining lives.
- Thank you kindly for listening :-) there is hope! Faith has not been lost! Eventually, good is going to win! sooner than later. 😉
- Information is how we are going to succeed. Regardless of the opposition's positions.
