US Media is controlled by 5 huge firms
Put another way - OVER 90% OF THE NEWS YOU SEE ON TELEVISION IS OWNED AND CONTROLLED BY JUST 5 GIANT CORPORATIONS. What could go wrong? Gives an entire new way of the term 'programming'.
Media used to be an independent fact checking entity that helped to preserve Liberty, freedom and fairness. Now they just kowtow to the powers that feed them.
So what is the issue? Attacks On Independent/Alternative Media Intensify: Another Helpful, Informative And Very Useful Website Gets Defunded. Attacks on independent thoughts are increasing if they don't toe the line and adhere to the narrative! Additionally, they just blast the same message over and over, say it enough times and it begins to come true (or so they believe).
One huge example of this is the attack on Crypto - it wastes energy. We all know this is a line fed from the Central Bank down to their minions the Political class and poof you have a fabricated story line.

Note Communist Governments control the media. It would really easy to nationalize all five firms and then bingo you have just that a 100% controlled narrative.
