Understanding bitcoin was not easy for me, especially in a Latin country like mine where crypto technology and adoption is not as developed as first world countries. It took me about 2 years or so to really understand what bitcoin is. After discovering bitcoin in the Covid 19 pandemic and making my first investments without understanding almost anything, over time I realized that it is the best currency in the world, because while governments print money without control, devaluing their local currency and making you poorer every day, bitcoin is limited and more scarce every day, it is not controlled by any government or central bank and its storage is easy and secure. It's incredible how I can make payments to people anywhere in the world without the need for approval from a central bank or an intermediary, person to person in an easy and fast way without paying taxes on my transactions or holdings. Bitcoin is more than a cryptocurrency, it is a store of value, it is the perfect new digital gold to save and preserve your wealth, protecting it from inflation. I am not a rich person so I feel proud to have discovered this concept and have a little bit of bitcoin in my property and I think that every person should have some bitcoin in their holdings, little or a lot but have something for life.
