The road leads back to Wizard Slime
Taking my time into building Wizard Slime from scratch will be very fun. This is what I've decided to do. I mean, it has been published on Steam already (check it out on steam), so why not take advantage of it instead of eventually spending $100 dollars again.
Changing the project completely might be risky but the game wasn't good anyway. I'm sure every owner is going to love the new version. Although I shouldn't show this to anyone yet, because it's really ugly.
Placeholder art will be all over the place for now. I am going to hire a pixel artist, but only when almost everything is finished. Here is the temporary current story intro, clearly made by me:

Alter's latest potion is ready.
The transformation is difficult...
But he did it! Now he's a Wizard Slime.
You play as Alter, a wizard who has permanently turned himself into a slime because slimes as the master ingredient for any potion. As such, you can absorb and brew ingredients anywhere at anytime, which makes you a very powerful force.
This is the only way to progress further in the Cave of Mayhem, to a point where no humans have ever been before. Discovering new ingredients taken from dangerous magical beasts will allow Alter's potion shop to become the most popular one in the world.
Top-down shooting, magic, potion crafting and exploring will be the main features of the game. As a slime, you will not become stronger by wearing heavy armor, but by fusing yourself with magical loot and using a variety of potion boosts.
