When I first heard about bitcoin, it was 2013 and I believe they were priced at around 500 dollars. It was a different time, and I wasnt but 15 at the time. I see posts all the time of people complaining that they didnt get into crypto early enough or how they've lost so much money in the recent crash. The problem isnt that you got into bitcoin too late, it's that theyre trying to make money by just exchanging their money for a different type of currency. Now obviously it can scale up over time but I dont see why people treat it like it's the stockmarket. Im a long term investor, and I dont plan on selling any crypto for a while now but that isnt because I think that my portfolio is going to the moon. It's because I plan on using it in the digital world in the future. Lets say I have 2 LTC, I dont think of it as having 260$ I think of it as having 2 LTC. Theres plenty of ways to make a lot of money in crypto, you just have to work for it! The same as any other kind of pay.
Cryptocurrency isnt exactly a new invention, but it is just recently being brought to a mainstream audience. That being said there's not an awful lot you can do with it at the moment. Sure I can go hit the bitcoin casinos on the weekend, or go all out on NFT's but what im really excited about is to see how it's implimented and used in actual trading. There's an insane ammount of oppurtunity right now, more so than there ever has been. It just takes a little thinking outside of the box and elbow grease. I think one of the most valuble skills to have is programming and im already kicking myself for not knowing how to do it. I would love to start a store that sells products in exchange for crypto and ive been brainstorming on different ideas all week. Personally i'd rather get paid in cryptocurrency than regular US Dollars every day of the week. I dont know if I see cryptocurrency being used in everyday stores but I could definately see it being used for all online orders/purchases. Now I'm not the smartest poster here, but I do have somewhat of an understanding of economics, and history has a way of repeating itself. I hope im wrong, but I would almost bet money that the stock market is going to crash soon, and with that the crypto market will as well. But I predict when the dust settles it will cause a massive ammount of people to lose faith in the USD.
Now for a little context, in 1918 the country became infected by the spanish flu and doing resarch about it for this article made me realize just how little anything has changed. There was antimaskers, conspiracy theorists and last but not least a lot of politcal turmoil. Coming out of it you have the roaring 20's where the economy exploded because the pandemic was finally over. Starting to sound familiar? Everything led up to the great depression, which I really fear is going to happen again in the not so distant future. I think that will be around the time people realize how big of a deal it is for a desentralized currency to exist, and that the big banks are not to be trusted with their money. The thing I like about CryptoCurrency isnt the potential gains, its the fact that central banks wont have any control over my money. I was absolutely sickened when I read up on how banking worked, and it's only gotten worse since the financial crisis of 2008.
I really dont see cryptocurrency being banned or outlawed in the states or any country for that matter. The powerful dont like for their money to be in banks either, decentralized currency literally benifits everyone involved. Theres a reason the rich keep all their funds in stocks or swiss bank accounts and it's because they like to stay private. One of the biggest issues i've found with crypto is the market manipulation that goes on behind the scenes. It's really no secret that it's happens a lot, and thats how people end up losing all of their money. Short term investing in crypto just isnt viable. I suggest to just stop looking at the price going up or down and just focus on collecting as much safecoin as you can and forgetting you even own it. The market is going to be viotile for a long time, it's made to take money from people who dont know what theyre doing and the people who control it know that its gonna go back up whenever the time is right.
So how do you actually get rich off of bitcoin? Well I think the 2 next big things that havent been discovered by the mainstream media yet are the world of NFT's, DeFi and D-apps. As an artist NFT's make me so happy I cant even put it into words, I havent made any yet but I 100% plan on it. Im in the music industry and I think they have the potentional to completely remove the need for big record labels that exploit young hungry artists, and it gives people a chance to make a living off of their creations without all the hassle of third parties. When a musician puts out an album or a song they usually get pennies on the dollar in comparison to their label taking all of the profit. Im not super resarched into the digital art world or how it works there but im sure there are similarities. Art is beautiful no matter what you're creating, and the starving artist trope is too undeserved. People who create things deserve to make a living just like anybody else, and I think it's our time
In regard to DeFi there are endless possibilities on what can be done with it. I love that there are entire video games you can play now that revolve around the blockchain and it's still super early to get into. In a couple years I think everyone is going to be using them and everyone who got in on the action early is going to be very happy that they did. A lot of the D-apps are still in beta but the creativity and ambition is truly mindblowing. If I wasnt so busy with the new album that i've been making I'd really like to take the time to learn how to make/manage one of my own. One of my favorite games on the world of defi is Immutable, It's a card game just like magic except for im pretty sure you can earn by playing them. Im already trying to collect all the cards I can and rank up.
The bottom line, Wanna make a lot of money off of crypto? Nows your chance but it's not just gonna happen overnight and just like any person who's found success you're gonna have to work hard, make the right decisions and be a little creative. But Im a strong believer in that anyone can do anything they set their mind too. There's more oppurtunity then theres ever been to make a lot of profits, you just have to know how to go out and get it.
