My Investigation Into FaucetPay

I've been a Faucetpay user for a few months now

And I have had a lot of questions about it, like

How can I receive less crypto than the minimum over blockchain?

How can I use a different blockchain address, But receive a different block token?

Including some things I found like Info on the Owner

& The Faucetpay Blueprint

And Cut 🎬

How does Faucetpay distribute less cryptocurrency than is allowed on the blockchain?

: Ignoring the long sub-heading and basic Multisend which I found online, how do they do it?

From a closer view, It looks like they are doing the classic Central Bank Strategy

Where you are getting real crypto, But it isn't crypto that was sent over the Blockchain

To understand this we need to understand how a central bank works

How Does A Central Bank Work?

: Well it's complicated and simple, That's why were going to use the Basement example

Basically, The central bank has a basement where there are different vaults for every other bank

When a bank does a transfer to another bank, The central bank just moves gold from one vault to the other

I have an example from a youtube video :

Default

*The lines represent different vaults

Devault

Just like that, The balance changes

Applying Central Bank To FaucetPay

: Now you should see the pieces fitting into place, and the faucets having their own faucetpay account,

Because sending crypto from Faucet account to account Has No Fees

Even if you haven't built the puzzle the next sub-heading should.

The Faucetpay Ledger

: If you have used Faucetpay at all, you should know about the Emails, All you need is to tell the faucet your Faucetpay email, and they send it to you

Of course, for this to run there must be something like a Ledger that has the Emails, Addresses, Balance and more in it

This explains a lot, including how I give my BNB address to freeusdt.app, and it sends me Tron-USDT

*Freeusdt faucet no longer works

But something doesn't connect, If all your info is in the ledger, How secure is it?

Any faucet which is registered to FaucetPay can see it your addresses & email

But that is just all we know, They could know Ips, Balance, and more

Things That Might Be Related To The Owner

: In Faucetpay there is a PTC section for viewing ads for crypto (no middle man)

As I was using these ads, I looked at the short url, With just a DNS and a r= (Referral)

But what caught me off guard was the referral name, It was an @Gmail.com (I forgot what the email was)

There's a possibility that some guy wanted a referral, so listed an ad on Faucetpay

or It's the owners' Email

Listen if your the owner of Faucetpay and you want to make native ads for an easy user experience

Or the bag💰

And there is no one making an ads campaign, Just make it yourself

The DNS

: Of course, if your trying to obtain information on a website, the first thing is the DNS

So I used Whois a DNS lookup tool, and low and behold I searched Faucetpay.io, and I got a lot of Info

If you don't believe me, you can just look it up your self or go to This Link

Some keypoints :

  • The DNS isn't officially linked to the @gmail I first saw (It was [email protected], I forgot ok)
  • Registration : Namecheap
  • Registered on : 2019 / 11 / 10
  • Expires on : 2025 / 11 / 10
  • Updated on : 2023 / 10 / 03
  • Registration contract phone number : +354.4212434
  • Administrative contract phone number : +354.4212434
  • Technical contract phone number : +354.4212434
  • The 3 have the same number
  • And +354 is a Iceland phone number

Part 2 is coming very soon

some time November

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

PS: This is future me talking,

I won't be uploading another investigation

It's just not worth the time,

Either way, I still did some investigation

- Apparently, faucets can tell the country you are (This was where I started but,

I thought the faucet pay ledger had the IPs of people as well, then I realised that I couldn't actually confirm this

Because an email is already linked to a country, so I scraped it)

- Then I continued on the website lookup tool (whois)

I found out that the Registrant, Administrative and technical contracts were linked to the same information

And then I started searching other websites (faucets), to find that like very other site had the same thing

Then I realised that I was chasing a mirage
