Organs of speech

As we all know that speech is the best way of communication, through it we can deliver our thoughts, ideas, desires and needs.


But did you know how speech is produced?


I mean what are the organs of speech?


There are various organs which are involved in the production of speech these are called organs of speech.


The study of speech organs helps us to determine the role of each organ in the production of speech.


Organs of speech:


They include the lungs,vocal folds,the tongue,lips,hard palate,soft palate,nasal cavity, alveolar ridge and teeth.


With the help of all these organs the speech come out of our mouth.


For example the lips are important in speech,they are pressed together when we speak the word "p"and "b".


Like the lips all the organs play their role in the production of speech.
