World coin has always been quite a sketchy and/or revolutionary topic for everyone in the crypto community and as a result of this, the majority of the community has chosen to migrate away from this project - as explained below.
I believe this is natural selection at its finest. Nobody wants to be associated to a project that scans your eyeballs for profit.
Not to mention sketchy data collection practices as I have covered in previous blog and article posts.
The community has generally shown a disregard to worldcoins’ exploitative practices when it comes up to their first 250,000 users and how they bribed their way into construction cites to gather info on underpaid workers, but, they tend to care a lot more about how the founder of world coin refused to answer questions about the tokens distribution - some possibly citing investors as the reason here, as it conflicts with the main message of the token being “evenly distributed amongst everyone” when in reality, investors were given a lot more tokens than everyone else.
Approximately 20% of the tokens were given to founders and investors. Pure insanity how they’ve not even been a project for that long and have already lied several times.
Imagine what they’ll do if they genuinely get ahold of the majority of the populous with their WorldCoin Universal basic income project?
Anyone who’s for the project simply wants to relax and be passive, a sheep in life - there’s truly no other way to explain it. The project promises a disgusting future, but a paradise for the lazy and incoherent. The second I saw the whitepaper, I was honestly surprised people would even think it was possible, let alone support the idea they’re spreading? Then people also give less of a damn about the exploited workers promised money - which they never got? Since the majority of this poll was done in America.. I’m not sure what this says about America or the future of America, but those are the facts presented to you - so make your own assumptions.
That’s all for today gentlemen.
Cheers.
