Bitcoin's been going wild lately. It had recently touched 28,000 but then plumetted to 26000.
Regardless, here are the latest bitcoin statistics.
This is obviously bias but it should convey a general truth which is that crypto is well known. If you get out of the western and european countries, cryptocurrency knowledge is at an extreme low, based off of experience I'd probably say that less than 2-3% of people know what it is.
Ofcourse, this is still bias to uk survey takers only, and it's also unknown as to whether these survey takers were telling the truth or whether they were taking the survey just for some sort of prize which would entice them to skip it or speed through it. I don't think many people actually trust crypto as much as they say they do. If these stats were true, we'd have a much, much higher marketcap for bitcoin. It could also be that people think they trust it, until they're told to actually invest into it, then everyone would simply back out of such an oppurtunity.
I'll leave the rest of the statistics to speak for themselves.
