I decided to step out from behind the screen... It dawned on me recently: no one here truly knows me. Sure, you might have heard my voice on a YouTube video or two (good luck figuring out which is the real one), or read my thoughts on X. But those are just fragments, carefully curated pieces of a larger puzzle.

So, who am I, really?

I'm a new father, utterly smitten with my baby boy. Those tiny hands, that toothless grin... they've turned my world upside down in the best possible way. I hail from a Western country, one that my Russian friends (привет!) might playfully label as "brainwashed." While I appreciate their perspective, I also value my own freedom to think critically and form my own opinions.

I'm not married, but I share my life with an incredible woman from a different culture. We're both freelancers, navigating the exciting and sometimes unpredictable world of self-employment. A while back, I made a decent chunk of change in crypto, but I have no desire to live off of it. I thrive on the challenge and satisfaction of working, especially writing.
