So, Pharos Network. Built by former Ant Group executives, the same people who ran Ant Chain's blockchain infrastructure. That alone caught my attention. When people with that kind of institutional pedigree go independent and raise from Lightspeed Faction and Hack VC, you pay attention. Add a $1 billion valuation following a strategic investment by a Hong Kong-listed energy company in March 2026, and this is no longer a small community project.
Technically, Pharos Network is targeting the full block lifecycle: consensus, execution, storage, data availability, all parallelized. The goal is 30,000 TPS at mainnet, with a ~0.5 second block time, and a unified EVM + WASM runtime that lets Solidity and Rust contracts call each other natively. No bridges, no cross-VM overhead. That's actually a meaningful technical differentiator.
The focus is real-world assets. Pharos Network has a $1.5 billion RWA pipeline with Ant Digital, and Centrifuge is already issuing tokenized U.S. Treasuries on the testnet. The ecosystem also includes a DEX (Zenith Swap), a perpetuals platform for tokenized stocks (Brokex), a stablecoin protocol (R2), RWA lending (ELFi), AI agents (Nextmate.AI), and Morpho-based lending infrastructure. The $10M ecosystem fund they deployed to attract native builders is also a good signal, it means they're not waiting for mainnet to build momentum.
TGE is expected Q2 2026. The $PHRS token has a fixed supply of 1 billion.
