I’ve been reading a lot of predictions lately saying the crypto bull run will likely peak and end sometime in 2025. Just a few months ago, the narrative was completely different—crypto was “dead,” supposedly outpaced by AI and fading into irrelevance. It seems like every six months, we swing between extremes.

AI, however, is still mostly a narrative in the crypto space for now. Watch my short video below where I break this down in more detail:

Here’s the thing: I’m probably older than many of you and have seen this kind of cycle before. Back in the late ‘90s, during the internet bubble, everyone was riding high on .com startups. Then the bubble burst, and people declared it the end of the internet era. Shortly after, mobile phones became the big thing—until the crash of 2001 made even mobile tech seem like a passing fad.

But here’s what happened next: Both the internet and mobile phones came back stronger than ever. The introduction of the iPhone and Android ushered in a whole new era, creating the connected world we now live in. Today, no one would dare call the .com boom a “bubble” without acknowledging the massive, world-changing industries it birthed.

Now, what if crypto goes through the same pattern? The crypto “bubble” might burst, and maybe AI could become the dominant focus for a while. But just as we saw with the internet and mobile phones, what if these technologies eventually converge? Imagine crypto and AI combining into something entirely new and transformative—like smartphones, which married the internet and mobile phones into a revolutionary platform.

Crypto could integrate decentralized systems with AI's computational power, creating applications we can’t even fully envision right now. If history is any guide, these cycles don’t signify an end, but a reinvention and expansion into something far greater.
