So I’ve been farming some pretty decent yields on NEAR lately and honestly, it’s got me kind of confused. It helped me get my head around how NEAR handles identity and transactions differently. Once I got the hang of it, I started digging into what DeFi apps are actually out there. And that’s when I stumbled onto Rhea Finance.

At first glance, it looks like a basic DEX, but after poking around, I realized it also has lending and borrowing features. So instead of hopping between five different platforms, I can do most of what I need in one place. No gas fees to worry about either — which sounds small until you realize how much of your yield gets eaten alive on other chains.

Now, I’m not someone who chases hype. I like things that just… work. And NEAR has been doing exactly that. I don’t have to stress over network congestion, I’m not waiting for slow confirmations, and I’m not paying more in fees than I’m earning in rewards. That alone makes it stand out.

But here's the thing — why isn't anyone talking about this?
I keep waiting for the floodgates to open, for the influencers to drop their “NEAR is the future” takes, for Twitter to blow up with yield hunters moving over. But it hasn’t happened. Maybe people are too busy chasing whatever shiny token dropped this week. Or maybe they just haven’t given NEAR a real shot yet.

I guess I’m just curious if I’m the only one seeing this. Am I missing something obvious? Or is this just one of those under-the-radar spots where you can still earn without all the noise?

Either way, I'm staying put for now. Just wanted to throw this out there and see if anyone else is doing the same thing — or if I'm just going down a path no one else bothered to walk.
