I’ve been using Farcaster for about a year now, and it’s really made me rethink what social media could be. Unlike traditional platforms, Farcaster is part of the web3 movement—where users, not big corporations, have control. I own my data, my identity, and the content I create. No more algorithms deciding what gets seen—just real connections and a decentralized network where the community is in charge.

I received a DEGEN airdrop when I first started, which was a nice bonus. But these days, I’m not getting rewarded for posting like some others do. Still, I think the way Farcaster works is fascinating. Even if you’re not posting constantly, the whole ecosystem is about connecting and creating in a way that feels more genuine than the big tech platforms.

These allow creators to link to or showcase their digital assets, so others can view or even mint them directly from Farcaster. It’s not about creating a traditional NFT collection, but rather sharing your work and letting the community participate in your creative journey, all within a decentralized space.
