I wanted to share how I started earning some cool rewards on the Aptos blockchain using this app called Hyperion. If you’re curious about how to get involved, I’ll walk you through everything from setting up your wallet to investing in liquidity pools — step by step.
First things first, you’ll need a wallet that works with the Aptos blockchain. I went with Pontem Wallet because it’s easy to use and integrates smoothly with apps like Hyperion. You can download it as a browser extension just like MetaMask. Once installed, create your wallet and make sure to save your recovery phrase somewhere safe. That’s super important. Then copy your wallet address — you’ll need it for the next steps.
Now that you have your wallet set up, it’s time to get some tokens onto the Aptos chain. I transferred APT and USDC from my Binance account. To do this, go to the withdrawal section on Binance, select APT or USDC, and choose Aptos Blockchain as the network. Paste your wallet address and confirm the transaction. It usually takes just a few seconds for the funds to show up in your wallet. Keep in mind you’ll need a small amount of APT to cover gas fees for any transactions you make.
Once I had my tokens ready, I headed over to Hyperion and connected my wallet. That’s where the real action starts. Hyperion is a decentralized trading platform that rewards users for interacting with their platform. One of the easiest ways to earn is by providing liquidity to their pools. You can pick a pair like APT-USDT and deposit an equal value of both tokens. Every time you add or remove liquidity, you earn points that will be redeemable once their token launches in Q2 2025. Pretty neat, right?
What makes this even better is that there are referral codes and ongoing tasks you can complete to earn more points. You can find your own referral code after connecting your wallet and start inviting others too.
Another thing I really like is how simple everything feels. The interface is clean and intuitive, and since Aptos has such low transaction fees, it’s actually fun experimenting without worrying about spending too much. Compared to other chains I’ve used before, this feels like a breath of fresh air.
If you're looking for a new way to earn rewards while learning about DeFi on a fast-growing blockchain, I highly recommend giving Hyperion a try. Just remember to always keep your recovery phrase safe and double-check addresses before sending any funds.

Let me know how it goes — I’d love to hear your experience once you get started. Have fun out there and stay curious!
