I almost fell for it. A perfectly crafted email from "Galxe Rewards" telling me I had over $6,000 waiting to be claimed. It looked legit—logo, friendly tone, and even a support email. But something felt off.
Before clicking, I did a quick sanity check: I asked ChatGPT if it was real. Within seconds, it flagged the email as a likely phishing attempt and pointed me to official Galxe warnings about scam emails. Turns out, clicking that link could have compromised my wallet.
This was a wake-up call. Scammers are getting smarter, and these emails are ridiculously convincing. If I had trusted my excitement over my instincts, I could’ve lost everything.
Lesson learned: Always double-check. Whether it’s with ChatGPT, official sources, or even just reading the fine print, one minute of caution can save you thousands.
