We've all heard the news: Binance is teaming up with some countries in Asia to take down some major crypto criminals. Sounds great, right? But it got me thinking...what does this REALLY mean for the future of crypto, and more importantly, where do different countries stand on all this?
Are some governments secretly loving the idea of Binance becoming a crypto cop? And are others plotting to bring the hammer down?
We know China has been cracking down on crypto HARD, and the US seems to be playing a different game altogether. They're pushing their own crypto agenda through ETFs with big players like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and putting their own guys to replace Binance - e.g., Coinbase, Blackrock, Grayscale.... Could Binance become the Huawei of crypto, caught in the crossfire of a global tech war?
It's a wild west out there, and the lines are getting blurrier by the day. So, while ETH ETF is about to be approved, Binance could still be threatened by the US government.
