If you've spent anytime on crypto Telegram (especially in the bigger groups), you've surely seen nothing but shills and copy-paste nonsense. In most Telegram groups there are users posting the advertising equivalent of a dusting attack. Does it work? Maybe for some, but it seems to mostly be pump and dumps rather than long lasting projects.

If you are looking for REAL crypto discussions covering many major networks - BSC, ETH, Polygoin, Kucoin, etc. there are a handful of helpful communities. Here are two Telegram communities that I've found helpful:

1. BSC Gemz

BSC Gemz is a strong community consisting of some of the OGs of BSC as well as developers, mods, and just about anyone that is interested in Binance Smart Chain. Three things set them apart from other big groups. First, they do not allow shilling of any kind in their group. They allow discussions of legit projects, but you can't just drop in with a "hey check out this gem" or "What do you think of xyz?". They expect discussion, not pump and dumps. Second, their mod team is primarily made of devs and mods of some major BSC projects and they are willing to help with many technical aspects of crypto. Third they have frequent AMAs with newer and more innovative projects, allowing you a bit of help to separate the wheat from the chaff.

But wait, what if you don't care about BSC? No problem! They have sister groups including Polygon Gemz, Solana Gemz, Kucoin Gemz, AVAX Gemz, and probably more in the future. 

2. Rugdoc

Rugdoc's mission is safety. Rugdoc has a deep team that reviews code to help the general crypto community evaluate the safety of different farms and projects. They don't offer a complete safety review but they look for especially dangerous bits of code. If there is a farm or project you are wondering about, stop by their telegram and ask! They check projects from multipe chains including BSC, Polygon, HECO, Fantom, Kucoin, and others.
