As mentioned in previous posts, I had stopped using my Coinbase account for while until I received an e-mail letting me know I am eligible to earn some free crypto. In the meantime Brexit had happened and Coinbase moved to an Ireland legal entity with bank accounts in Estonia. My Revolut accounts also changed from a British IBAN numbers to Lithuanian IBAN numbers.
I updated all my payment methods and went to undergo new payment method verification. Both Revolut and Coinbase have started using the SEPA system for payments in Europe, which is touted as "instantaneous".
And wow! Instanteneous it was indeed, almost in a minute after I hit the "send" button in Revolut, the deposit would show in my EUR wallet on Coinbase. It is amazing how much has changed in a few months. I believe coinbase will become again my fiat-to-crypto and vice versa vendor again. This is really convenient and helpful and is almost as fast as a credit card charge, which lately proves difficult with bank cards issued in my home country Bulgaria.
The earn feature is also expanding, I now have earned more that EUR 50 worth of free crypto on Coinbase, which I am immediately turning into BTC.
A nice addition is that now coinbase has included PayPal as an option to withdraw funds as well, which I immediately set up.
I hope this would be a helpful piece of advice!
