I was born as a city boy, as a child i always did sutff that you regularly do in cities, you know, go to the park, visit malls with my parents, go to the cinema etc.

The only idea i had of how a farm works and what you do there came to me from cartoons, so when i thought what it would be living there i always pictured myself milking cows, sowing seeds etc. in a funny way.

Then when i was 10, 11 years old, i had the opportunity to go to a friend's farm for a weekend and it was awful, it was supposed to be a great weekend but the trip to get there was eternal, once we arrived i realized there was no electric power (i am talking about 30 years ago in a very rural area), the smell in the barn and in general around the house was terrible because of the cows and pigs wastes and above all there was the horror tales about a leprechaun that was always doing devilries around (in honor of truth strange things happened there, like one day the horses appeared with their hair cut, and the cows were painted with red paint, all of this from dusk till dawn).

Anyway my experience there was everything but like in the cartoons, i hated it and i swore i would never go back to a farm.

But you know, life is tricky, 12 years ago i meet my wife and guess what her father does for living: he's a FARMer, for real!! so i started going to the farm every other weekend and, since i got married and had my 2 children i enjoy going there.

Everytime we are there i help my father in law with the farm's tasks, and even when still it is not like in the cartoons, i enjoy it, i enjoy the company, been with the family and i am trying to make my kids experience in the farm.

Something similar happened to me with cryptos. In 2016 i discovered bitcoin and got really involved, trying to get them in every posible way; i started to do faucet claims, buy btc's, got into hyips, and everything was fine, till i got scammed :(, i don't remember now the name of that website but it was a hyip, i invested almost 75% of my cryptos and lose it all in 1 week. It was a terrible experience and like with the farm i got scared, did not want to know anything about crypto...until this year, my wife (as she did with farms) worked her magic with me, convincing me to get into cryptos again, so we started mining ether and from august to now it´s been a hell of ride, we saw the born and raise of defi, started using it a little late, but then we knew harvest.finance and became FARMers in more than 1 way, and we are simply happy with the results.

So everytime i think in farms i think in crypto and viceversa, those stories were so similar in my experience that they are related in my mind.
