Eternal Cash and Extend Finance Statement

To all valued investors, friends and interested parties.
It has come to our attention there are some slanderous and inaccurate rumours being spread by a previous Web Developer we engaged.
The original offer we agreed on was to develop the website for Extend Finance and register the domain.
This was paid for in full. 1 eth and $1000 of EXF were used for this contract prior to launch of EXF.
This website and domain are fully paid for however we have yet to receive the keys for the Domain.
The Eternal Cash brief was to update and modernise the website.
The agreement in place was 200,000.00 EC tokens.
50,000 paid up front
50,000 paid halfway through the process
100,000 paid at completion
The first payment was made.
The request for the second payment was only received on the 13th of March. 5 days ago.
It was at that time that the Web Dev contractor was told that we were not satisfied with the work done to date and we would be looking elsewhere to complete this project.
As the contractor had only recently requested the second instalment, and looking at the content created at this time, we felt there was still a significant amount of work to be done until 100% completion was achieved.
When requesting what work they believed was outstanding, we were told they were 95% complete.
We completely disagreed with this as per the reasons listed above and, offered to close out the payment for the work they had undertaken up to this point by paying a further 60,000 EC tokens pegged at a 20% increase in the current market price as a USDC payment. This amount being circa $3,600.00.
We felt this allowed for any upside the design had created and the 60,000 tokens plus the initial up-front payment of 50,000 tokens signified what we genuinely believed to be the work completed to date, namely 55% completion.
Unfortunately, this offer was flatly refused, and a counter demand was made requesting the full payment of a further 150,000 EC tokens up front prior to any more work being done and then they would complete the project, furthermore we were told should we fail to pay this by a set time they would instigate a smear campaign and go public attempting to defame us and cause potential harm to our token and investors.
The obvious risk to our investors and community is any large token payment made to people who have shown what they are prepared to do, we believe, could instigate these tokens to be dumped on the market and the job never finished.
That is why the decision was made to pay in USDC to avoid this potential issue to close out our agreement.
This business has been founded on strong principals and we refuse and will forever refuse to agree to threats coercion and blackmail by anyone.
Furthermore, having clearly threatened us, we find it impossible to continue any further work with this organisation/Web Developer.
All messages of the interaction with this Web Developer have been saved and will be made public should it be required.
We apologise sincerely to all of you that we are in this position, but we will continue to drive this, our other tokens and business model forward.
We are extremely excited about what the future holds for all of us. A second announcement will be made soon to elaborate on our key updates and addons as well as our future road map.
Regards,
Harry, The Logic and Defiance.
