"Music and Me"

By erimo | erimo | 14 Mar 2019

I've mentioned in my previous post that I'm a music lover. It is actually a big part of my life. My day won't surely pass without listening to music, streaming a music video or singing some of my favorite songs. Ballad is my favorite genre, probably because this best suits my voice. For those who are not into it, singing is never an easy thing to do. It takes a lot of effort and self-confidence. It's actually better executed when you sing a song from the heart, as if you're telling the story behind its lyrics and melodies.

Singing is not measured on how you reach the highest note. It doesn't even require vocal calisthenics to impress listeners or to make them appreciate the song. It's all about emotions. It's all about passion and commitment to give life to the meaning of the song. I could say all of these because of my connection to music. I'm not a pro, not even close to being one, but I definitely know why music exists.

Indeed, music has not only touched my life, but has also given it a brand new meaning. I couldn't imagine life without music. I'm probably not what I am today without music. Nothing could really separate music from me, unless I've already faced the end of my journey.

I'm a very simple person who is seeking for greater opportunities in life. I'm now trying to express myself through writing, hoping that with this, I will be able to build a bridge that would connect people from all races.
