New numbers - reassuring? (BBC)
I would tend to say we have good news. A study reveals some solid numbers. Over 80% of seem to take the virus quite well. Around Wuhan with 2.9% the death rate would be higher then 2%. Elsewhere (in China) more in the range of 0.4%.
1 in 20 would be in serious condition.
Children until 9 no fatalities (?)
0.2% for people under age of 40.
Much higher risk for aged people (80+) and in cases of preconditions (heart, chronic respiratory desease...)
