Hi all I'm an Australian Photographer, I generally do photo shoots with Models like the below however I tend to always get questions or even question myself "Why don't I upload this photo?".

I've come to a very simple answer to this question. It doesn't mean anything to you, but it does for me. For example, the above photo is a model I had a photo shoot with on the Coasts of Victoria near Melbourne Australia. It's a cool photo and it's something the model enjoyed, something they can share with their friends and use to promote themselves. It's a photo friends can enjoy, both photographers and non photographers, and also something I myself can look at and enjoy (It's always great to look back and go 'I really took this?'.

Other photos hold no meaning. Like the below. 

Sure it's an okay photo, but it's not something I took to be made to be shared. It was taken to remember a 5am Morning in Japan at Mount Koyasan, a place I thought I'd hate, a place that was on the way to my final destination in Japan Tokyo, and also a final photo shoot in Tokyo. 

This morning was one of the best experiences of my life. I had never felt so peaceful and Zen, even though I was suffering from extreme Jet lag, I had finally reached my dream destination and if this place I expected to hate was so great, what was the rest going to be like? 

This photo encapsulates a memory a train of thought, but only for me. A lot of other photos are like this. Not made to be shared, but to keep as reminders of those good time. Of course their are photos that I've taken made to be shared that have been plain bad that I don't share, but that's another story.
