CONTRAST
I see peace, I see light,
In a world as evil as dark night.
I see love, I see bright,
Pushing back hatred's blight.
I dance with lightning, I bathe with fire,
I celebrate storms, I make love to pain,
Come hell or thunder's tears of ire.
I have stories to tell you,
they are inked in my arms.
I have hurt to show you,
they are scarred in my art.
I see color, I see light,
In a world that is dark as night.
You can fill me with blackness, I still wish for light,
I'll empty my brightness to color your night.
