Before I give my honest opinion I’m going to give you a little bit of info about myself. I like think of myself as a positive person. When things go south in the markets, at work, in life, I say to myself… “Things could be worse.” When it comes to most things I don’t have high expectations. I understand that failure is a part of life. The world needs more kindness. I take these things into consideration when reviewing someone else’s work of art.

I am by no means a professional critic. My opinion and review may be different then yours. Having said that… let’s get on with the review.

I love Marvel comics. I have been a Spider-Man fan since I was a kid! I knew of some of the other lesser known heroes but I never knew much about Moon Knight. The MCU version of Moon Knight could end up being completely different then the Marvel comics version. Before seeing the first episode my understanding was that Moon Knight was sort of the Marvel version of Batman… I don’t know why, maybe I came up with that idea because of his costume.

As someone who knows absolutely NOTHING about Moon Knight, I absolutely loved the first episode. Comparing this first episode to the other first episodes of the MCU Disney+ series like WandaVision, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Loki, and Hawkeye, I would say that Moon Knight has the best first episode. Before Moon Knight, my favorite first episode was Loki. I give the episode a 10/10.

I thoroughly enjoyed the very first episode. There weren’t any scenes that dragged on for too long, the action scenes weren’t too over the top, and the comedy was spot on! The ending of the episode definitely left me wanting more and I am so hyped for the next episode!

Watching the first episode has actually given me the desire to look into and maybe try to read some of the Moon Knight comics. I want to get to know who this character is!
