Unbelievably a lot of people including doctors have little knowledge about this horrible debilitating disease that has no cure - and many are still told having a baby or hysterectomy etc will cure you - it does not!
I'm wearing yellow in support of the 1 in 10 women who have been riddled by this evil . My personal experience was terrible and undiagnosed up until about age 25 as nothing showed up on ultrasounds or anything - many doctors, gynaecologists and specialists told me "it's all in your head" though I bled every single day of the years give or take a few days where I didn't. I had to quit so many jobs as I was in such pain I'd be curled up in bed unable to function at all in such excruciating pain I wanted death to come and get me. I can honestly say giving birth is a breeze compared to this evil. I had keyhole surgery remove a few kgs of it which I donated to research. We have come so far yet not far enough. Too many women suffer in silence not knowing that they indeed have endometriosis and not just "bad period pain" - #1in10
