A couple of weeks ago I started to look for ways to create an extra income online. Much more serious than ever before. There's so many guru's and teachers, YouTubers and advertisers who create a perspective that making money online is super easy.
That's not what I personally experienced. I've invested a lot of my money, time and energy without any profit so far.
My dropshipping store was a complete failure.
My blogging is paying me barely enough for a sandwich. One sandwich a month, not a day!
However, I'm learning a lot of useful skills. The ideas that didn't work are being crossed out of the list. I'm not going to repeat my mistakes. Through trial and (so far constant) failure I find gaps in my 'business skills' that teach me what not to do.
I'm learning what people actually do want to read, what are they looking for. Before I was guessing, now I have a broad idea on what's actually going on in the mind of an average Internet surfer. I have 80% sure prediction that this story is going to make on Publish0x more than $0.3. Simply because there are quite a few of you that can relate to what I'm writing about and a few that are just simply curious how many coins are in someone's pocket.
Nothing to be embarrassed about. I do the same.
The Outcome So Far
Before I had no respect for people who make loads of money online. I thought they somehow cheating the system or got lucky. Now I see that they truly deserve it for the effort and time they put in. Well done guys!
My goal is to make $500 dollars a month. So far it's just $5. Although, it's coming in consistently! It's a beginning. I must be doing something right.
As I mentioned my blogging endeavors pay me around $4 a month.
I recently started to write funny poetry that made in total $0.3.
I also created a gig on Fiverr and Legiit where I offer to write custom poetry.
On Publish0x in two months I made $4.5. Thanks to everyone for the tips!
Finishing Thoughts
I'm very grateful for every one of you who read, share, comment on the stuff I write about. It creates a desire to go and support others.
I'll continue learning and experiment until I can make something decent. I have a desire to help others to make some extra money as well. I understand that sometimes it's difficult to live when there's not enough food in the fridge when you cannot give someone you love because you don't have enough yourself.
But first I need to learn some good skills myself.
If someone wants to help I'm looking for
- A Beta reader. It's someone who gives me feedback on my writing.
- Just ideas and strategies that help to take everything to the next level.
- The first people to order my custom poetry gigs.
- Readers (or even writers) of my funny poetry publication.
Thank you for reading! I wish you the best of luck in whatever you do!
