the youth that must save us from ourselves
mocks poetry.

I mean: until when will the poem be tolerated
to do and say things that promote mockery of youth?
They will claim that youth mocks everything
even from death!
and has no respect for elders
All of that is within the calculation and out of discussion.
only topic that the poem must address in order not to receive
indifference and yawning: love.
the poem lost all credibility.
but love will save him from himself.
love lost all credibility countless centuries ago.
but yet everyone pretends to believe him.
love and the poem will be saved together.
that way there will be credibility
and the divine youth will leave its treasures in the hands
poems of the poets.
that they will leave alive and kicking with money in hand
forever and ever.
