The current covid-19 pandemic being experienced globally has deeply halted the world economy, by leaving all countries of the world proceeding on total lock down.

A disease like covid-19 where everyone is been asked to practice social distance, exchanging of paper currency becomes more unhealthy as it could serve as a major spread of the disease.

This becomes a plus for the electronic currency among which the cryptocurrency market is a champion, many countries of the world would divert into the crypto currency investment.

 The decentralized nature if Bitcoin has made the blockchain giant gain more preference from investors, they consider it a safe –haven most especially in this period of global economic lock down.

Although various analyst of the cryptocurrency market and the world economy have been expressing different thoughts of what is likely to happen after the pandemic period. Here is a little peep into what’s likely to be the aftermath of Bitcoin after the pandemic period.

 Bitcoin is limited in circulation; the fact that its existence will be limited to 21 million in circulation gives it superiority over emergency monetary measures faced by fiat currencies.

Just recently the US Federal Reserve’s after realizing the potentialities of Bitcoin announced the release of billions of dollars into the cryptocurrency market.

Also, Bitcoin becomes more preferable as there has been growing fear of inflation among investors. This fear becomes necessary as nobody could tell the extent to which the present pandemic will affect the global economy.

Experts believes that if their happen to be a loss in the value of dollar it will lead to inflation. Moving into a deflationary asset like Bitcoin would guide against such inflation.

Bitcoin is regarded a deflationary asset because the amount of Bitcoin produced into the market decreases with time.

According to experts the electronic cash system has so-far failed to attain general adoption. Therefore, by the time the global economy recovers it will become more pertinent for a global adoption of an alternative currency.
