Jorge, who we’ve talked about in earlier entries but never truly concluded, will finally get his closure here. As I mentioned before, every story needs an antagonist—someone who disrupts the flow of events and shakes things up. That, in summary, was Jorge.

The issue with Jorge was that he believed everyone would go along with whatever he wanted. For a while, that was true. In my opinion, it went on for far too long, giving him so much power that dealing with him became a challenge. He essentially declared himself the group’s shadow leader, which allowed him to manipulate situations to his liking. Whenever a problem arose, he would twist it in his favor, often resulting in people leaving the group. Ironically, this often turned out to be a favor to them.

And of course, every villain needs a lieutenant—a right-hand man. Someone nobody suspects and whom Jorge could fully exploit. That person was Daniel, "The Spy." With little personality of his own and a likable demeanor, Daniel was perfect for the role. He followed Jorge everywhere, and to be honest, he was probably the last person I would have suspected. Sandra, sitting next to me as I write this, agrees. Daniel was Jorge’s eyes and ears when he wasn’t around. He was far more cunning than he seemed, and in upcoming entries, you’ll understand why.

In summary, within the group of Marcos, Héctor, Lucas, Daniel, and Jorge, the latter was the shadow leader. He rarely spoke openly, but his influence was undeniable. Even if it wasn’t obvious at first, Jorge always had the final say.
