Lucas decided to leave Marcos and Jorge aside for a while to focus on the main story, especially since we had reached one of those pivotal moments every story has.
"–I think you should tell this part, Sandra. After all, she was your friend, and it's better if you explain it firsthand," Lucas said to Sandra.
"–Well, I can’t argue with you on that. Of course, I should tell it. Damn the day I introduced them. You think you’re doing something good, and in the end, you’re up to your neck in crap. Seriously…" Sandra muttered, lowering her voice.
"–Alright, I’ll take that as a yes. I’ll let you take the stage this time. I’ll be the one paying close attention to what you tell us," Lucas replied.
"–Fine, pay attention because here we go…" Sandra said.
After these first entries by Lucas—which now total 17, not counting this one—not bad, but my God, Lucas, you really need to speed things up.
Watch how fast, clear, and entertaining I’ll make this.
First, a quick introduction: My name is Sandra. I’m Lucas’s inseparable friend (though sometimes I hate him—just kidding, Lucas). You might know a bit about me since I’ve been mentioned in earlier entries. Anyway, I’m taking over this part of the story to share a segment. Let me clarify: this is not based on real events—something Lucas forgot to mention in the first entry. Even though we’re on Entry 18 now, it’s worth repeating. And yes, I’ll keep mentioning it.

So, I’m here to bring you up to speed on something that happened a while ago.
At the time, I was in my first year of high school, busy with the new school year, new classmates, and adjusting to a new school. (Most of the kids from my old school had gone to a different high school because they were troublemakers—remember them, Lucas? What a bunch.)
I had distanced myself a little from Lucas, whom I no longer saw every day except on Fridays when I’d stop by to meet him, and on weekends when I’d hang out with the group. (And yes, I missed you, so you know I still think about you, you melon.)
The change was good—a fresh start, where almost no one knew me. It’s always nice to start over. Over time, I began making new friends, one of whom was Claudia, who’s important here—Marcos’s second ex.
At first, Claudia seemed great—kind, attentive, a good classmate. She was someone you could work on group projects with, although she was a bit lazy (well, alright, Lucas, she was much lazier, but let’s stick with "a bit lazy" for clarity).
Over time, we started hanging out—getting drinks, going to the movies, grabbing dinner. Little by little, we became friends. (If I had known what would come later, of course, I would’ve thought twice about introducing her to the group. Actually, no—I wouldn’t have introduced her at all. A resounding no.)
On "Day X," as we’ll call it, the plan was to go to the movies. Being the good friend I am, I mentioned it to the group, thinking it would be nice to go together. In the end, Lucas, Marcos, and Dani joined us. Dani, who never really had much to contribute, didn’t really add much here either. (Though, as we later discovered, he was spying for Jorge, who didn’t need to show up if Dani was there. We only found this out much later.)
Dani was nice but not someone I completely trusted, though he did listen well.
That day at the movies started something that could no longer be stopped.
To be continued...
