Before continuing, I’ll pause for a moment to focus on one person—hence the title: Jorge.

In every good story, there must be a villain, and this one is no exception. Jorge was the kind of person who, no matter what he did or said, never seemed to get hurt. And if he did, he’d make sure others suffered just as much—if not more—than he did. He deserved these lines, first to understand him better, and second to explain how he always managed to be involved in every mess that occurred (whether directly or indirectly).

He knew everything about everyone, yet the rest of us only knew the part of him that he wanted us to know—like some sort of Big Brother figure. He wasn’t exactly the life of the party, either. In fact, he was dull, and his face often lacked any expression at all.

Before continuing the story, it’s best to explain Jorge’s situation.

Jorge had gone through many phases, and it’s worth explaining briefly without getting too caught up in the details. It all began the day Jorge found out that his parents were separating. That was when his cold, calculating personality started to take shape. At first, he didn’t use it, but later on, it became his tool for manipulating people.

The lack of paternal and maternal affection left a void that drove him to seek love and attention from girls. But instead of nurturing those relationships, he used them as a form of personal revenge, leaving those girls hurt.

This marked the beginning of something Jorge couldn’t stop—his love for knowing everything about everyone. In the long run, this habit caused problems, but Jorge thrived on problems and relished the risk.
