– Oli, is this serious? You don't want to play a joke on us? – asks Sandra.
– What joke? No joke, San, it's true.
– Well, what did he want now? – asks Olivia.
– Nothing, he saw the car outside and was surprised because he didn't know I was coming. But I've already told him that I came with you, that my parents aren't here. I hope he forgets a little, you don't know how annoying she can be.
– Oh! It's not like I was the witch Piruja, Eri – laughs Sandra.
– With that woman you were going to find out who the witch Piruja is, cutie – answers Erika.
– Come on girls! Let's finish putting everything away and go for a walk before Piruja kidnaps us – jokes Olivia. – What a movie you two have made.
– It's not a movie, Oli, it's true – says Erika. – You'll see after eating how the snack is prepared for us, how much laughter I'm going to have with you two for not believing me.
In the village, the temperature is colder. It's sunny, but it often hides behind the clouds. The three friends walk around part of the village. Erika explains to them as they walk. They laugh and feel free. They want to enjoy it to the fullest. For lunch they decide to go to a restaurant that is very well priced, they order some portions and taste them. They don't regret it. They pay and go straight to Erika's house to rest.
– If Puri is waiting for us with her eye on the door peephole, I'll have a fit – says Erika suddenly.
– And what do you suggest we do? – answers Sandra. – If it's really as much as you say, how can we get away with it?
– Maybe just go through. I don't know – says Erika. – It’s not that I’m always on the lookout, but just in case. What we can do is go, we’ll lie down for a while, we’ll turn on the TV and if she calls I’ll take care of it. I’ll tell her that we’re resting and that we’ll go out again later, so she shouldn’t worry.
And so it was. The three friends went into the house, lay down and rested a bit. Nothing was heard from Mrs. Puri.
– You were so worried that your neighbor would call and it turns out that she hasn’t – says Olivia. – Well, what a thrill! – She’s probably taking a nap – answers Sandra.

– Better – says Erika. – That way she’ll leave us alone.
Sandra smiles. These moments with her friends are great, but she’s curious to know more about Mrs. Puri. If what Erika says is true, what a woman! It’s better not to ask Erika anything and wait a bit so as not to get ahead of herself. What can happen to them with that little woman living just a few meters away from them?
– Girls, do you fancy going for a drink? – asks Erika. – I’m sure the café in the square will be open by now.
– Okay! – answers Sandra.
– Agreed! – exclaims Olivia.
They change and then go out the door. They pass by Mrs. Puri’s door and, after a few steps, the woman comes out into the street.
– Erika, where are you going? – she asks.
The girl turns around, startled. Mrs. Puri doesn’t miss a thing.
– Let’s go to the square, Puri, to have a drink – answers Erika.
– Ah. I already said that you didn’t leave the house. I felt you when you arrived, until now – says Mrs. Puri. – What beautiful friends you have!
– Yes, Puri. These are Sandra and Olivia – says Erika.
The girls approach Mrs. Puri and greet her.
– Hey, you're right to go for a walk around there, the weather is still nice and there are still people in the village – says Doña Puri. – Have you shown it to him?
– Yes, Puri, this morning – answers Erika.
