In recent revelation, 113 metric tons of Gold was quietly shipped out of Venezuela to Switzerland during the early days of Maduro government (2013-2016). News has it that the 113 tons of Gold ship to Swiss (Switzerland) refineries worth 4.7 Billion Swiss francs ($5.2B).

What really happened? It was reveal that during the year Venezuela as a country was experiencing economic collapse and cash are running out, the government decided that to keep the economic running they will need to use the Gold temporarily which was meant to protect national reserve (lifeline).

In 2017, the European Union (EU) sanction it and the gold pipeline was shut down overnight. The question on every citizen of Venezuela’s lips is who are those that benefitted from such expedition and where did the money go? Only time will definitely unveil the events.
