Prosecutors in South Korean Recover $22 Million in Bitcoin After Phishing Attack

In recent times, Phishing attack has been going on and a lot of shocking recovery is come to light. South Korean prosecutors have successfully recovered over $22 million worth of Bitcoin which was previously lost due to a phishing attack on some confiscated  digital wallets. This discovering has seen been publish on some renowed news media, thereby gaining public alerts and opinions.

According to NS3.AI, the incident occurred when officials mistakely used a fraudulent online wallet checkers. This activities enabled criminals to drain five cold digital wallets. In response to this breach, nationwide audits of cold wallets have been mandated to prevent further losses as crypto-related crimes continue to be on high rise.
